Heating Engineer - MT0007, Estates Salary: £43,000 per annum (£37,694 per annum plus 15% market supplement) + on call allowance Start Date: As soon as possible , <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>We are looking to appoint a Heating Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary maintenance team responsible for the operation and maintenance of a wide range of services throughout the University Estate. </span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">You will work as part of the Estates Trades Team and assist with the provision of maintenance duties to a wide variety of heating/hot water/mechanical plant on the University’s extensive and varied estate. You will work as part of a small team undertaking both reactive and planned maintenance duties, executing workmanship to a high standard and ensuring strict compliance with all Health and Safety legislation.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">You should be flexible in your approach to work, and have a strong background in engineering, with. If you are a creative thinker, a problem-solver, and are eager to contribute to the development of clean energy solutions, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You must have excellent communication skills and a keen and helpful manner. The ability to cope well under pressure, and the ability to demonstrate a flexible approach without supervision is essential. To be able to work effectively both independently and as a team.
