For the past two years, the Philly Specials have donated over four million dollars to various charities that support children in the Philly area and beyond. This year - the third and final year - they are going bigger. Much bigger. The Philly Specials - Jason, Lane, and Jordan - are releasing their third and final holiday record: A Philly Special Christmas Party (Vera Y Records). The album will be available on Friday, November 22nd, on vinyl, CD, and streaming. In addition to our annual donation to CHOP’s Snowflake Station and CCTC’s Toy Drive, proceeds will go to fund Operation Snowball, the ambitious initiative to make every student in The School District of Philadelphia feel seen and celebrated this holiday season. With your help, A Philly Special Christmas Party will raise enough money to make the holiday special for every single kid in the Philly public school system. But that’s just the start – The Philly Specials want this project to snowball into a larger spirit of giving in the Philly area.
