Pakistan’s Powerus ‘Israel-Linked’ Drone Deal Has an India Guardian-1 Interceptor Connection
Pakistan has placed a limited procurement order with US-based defence company Powerus for unmanned aerial systems and associated support, while also signing an MoU covering possible cooperation in unmanned and autonomous technologies.The deal has drawn attention because Powerus co-founder Ziv Marom previously served in the Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Corps. Another Powerus executive, Justin Gans, previously worked at Elbit Systems of America.But the connection does not make this a Pakistan-Israel defence deal.
